I would say Biden won. Palin's answers seemed to rehearsed an memorized. However, she did better than I expected she would do.

The press for many months has been making much of the fact that given the currrent state of the economy and the performance of the Republican party, and the unpopularity of the war, Obama should have been way ahead. If Obama was a white guy with the same credentials and skills he probably would be.

I am troubled by all these people who are "Hillary Supporters" who plan to vote for McCain. I am troubled because to say that you are a "Hillary Supporter" means that you support Freedom of Choice, that McCain does not.

To Greg 281912: I am amazed that you believe that McCain will win in a landslide. He has been trailing in the polls most of the year, and has only been ahead a couple of times. There is absolutely no evidence that we should expect that kind of victory.
What do you think of Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., as Barack Obama's choice for his running mate?
